2nd - 3rd October GIPPSLAND COMBINED GEM SHOW
Warragul and District Lapidary Club are hosting the Gippsland Combined Gem Show at the Yarragon Public Hall, Campbell Street Yarragon on 2nd and 3rd of October 2010 with the aims of promoting the art of Lapidary Craft in all its forms. This includes silversmithing, enamelling, wire wrapping, beadmaking, cutting and polishing gem stones, fossicking and gold prospecting. A large selection of gemstones, handmade jewelry, fossils and tools will be on display and for sale.

10th October IN2 COLLECTABLES RETRO FEST
This family friendly event will be held at the Sandown Racecourse, Princes Highway (Dandenong Rd), Springvale, Victoria from 9am to 3pm. Brings together over 80 traders from suburbs of Melbourne, country Victoria and Interstate. Wide variety of vintage, retro, modern & hard to find collectables, memorabilia and nostalgia for sale on the day. Everything from china, pottery, glassware, jewellery, books, comics, medals, coins, all trade cards, movie music & sporting memorabilia, autographs, toys, dolls, teddies, Beanie Kids, Sci-fi, Star Wars, diecast, miniatures, heaps more. Staged mostly indoors with a number of traders in an outdoor undercover area just outside the main hall. Ample free parking. Sandown Park rail station next door. Maldon Primary School Market and Fair
Saturday October 30th, 2010, 8am-3pm. Maldon Primary School Market and Fair is an annual event with something for all the family. Adults will enjoy the 100 plus quality art and craft stalls, including clothing, jewellery, handcrafted goods and gifts with a difference, the yummy food stalls and a multitude of community performances. Meanwhile the kids will be entertained by old fashioned games, jumping castle, face painting, juggling and the Maldon's Got Talent competition. Maldon is an easy one and a half hour drive from Melbourne so come along and enjoy a fantastic day out with the family.
