Campbelltown City Council invites locals and visitors from across the state to celebrate one of the longest running community festivals in the country – the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost! Inspired by the region’s most famous ghost story, this year’s festival runs from 1 to 10 November and offers a variety of fun and free activities for the whole family! **FIRST BIG WEEK** **Friday 1 to Sunday 3 November** Fisher’s Ghost Carnival, Bradbury Oval, various times A festival favourite, there will be heaps of free family entertainment daily. Free entry. Rides, food and sideshow alley costs apply. **Friday 1 November** Macarthur Night Markets, Bradbury Park, 5pm to 9pm The Macarthur Night Markets will be buzzing as they join forces with the Carnival at Bradbury Park for Friday 1 Nov only! An evening of delicious world cuisine, market stalls and more! **Saturday 2 November** Nerd Con, Campbelltown Civic Hall, 10am to 4pm There will be Cosplay judging, merchandise stalls, food trucks, gaming and more! Come dressed up or just as yourself. *Street Parade, Queen Street, 4pm kick off Join us for the iconic street parade that will make its way down Queen Street. This year’s theme is We Could be Heroes - so why not come dressed as your favourite hero! *Hero Hub, Koshigaya Park, 5.30pm to 7.30pm An awesome addition to this year’s festival is the Hero Hub. At the completion of the parade in Koshigaya Park you are invited to come and meet the heroes of the parade, have your photo taken and check out Batman’s real life bat mobile. *Fireworks, Bradbury Park, 9pm Spectacular fireworks display that will light up the sky both Saturday's of the festival. **Sunday 3 November** Fisher’s Kids, Campbelltown Arts Centre, 10am to 2pm Get ready for some awesome interactive installations, hands-on workshops, epic performances and spontaneous happenings designed for children and their families. **SECOND BIG WEEK** **Friday 8 to Sunday 10 November** Fisher’s Ghost Carnival, Bradbury Oval, various times If the first weekend wasn’t enough head to the carnival for the second big weekend with even more free entertainment, Friday Frenzy discounted wristband ride tickets and more! **Saturday 9 November** Street Fair, Mawson Park, 10am to 2pm Mawson Park and surrounds will be buzzing with music, free family friendly entertainment, stalls, food and more. A great day out for the whole family! Record breaking attempt by King Kebab House on Queen Street at 2pm! Fireworks, Bradbury Park, 9pm Don’t miss the second spectacular fireworks display at Bradbury Park the night will go off with a bang!! **Sunday 10 November** Marsdens Law Group Fisher’s Ghost Fun Run, Western Sydney University, 8am start. Celebrating its 45th year! The iconic fitness event is great for serious and social competitors with a 5km or 10km option. Online entries close Wednesday 6 November.
