As always held in the York Town Hall over the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of the Easter Weekend. 1 hour pleasant drive from Midland to the Avon Valley a beautiful time to visit historic York. Once again there will be numerous stalls in the Town Hall, all selling a wide range of antique collectables and paraphernalia. This year there will be a number of outside market stalls in Peace Park across the road on the Saturday and Sunday. Stallholders welcome to apply with a choice of 2 great venues please contact Yvonne. York Friendship Club is a small group of older ladies who have raised thousands of dollars for various charities worldwide UNHCR, Med San Frontiers, OX Fam etc. over many years. Each month a different recipient is chosen. For the past 5 years they have successfully run the York Medieval Fayre for Perth’s ‘Homeless’ via various organisations will be held on Sunday 29th September 2019 with the Banquet on the Saturday night 28th September at the old Mill. They have a part time Op-Shop and run the monthly Peace Park Markets held on the 2nd Saturday. All proceeds raised over the easter weekend will be donated Fred Hollows Foundation. Watch the fabulous floats in the street parade then follow the pilgrimage to Ulladulla harbour on Easter Sunday and watch the Blessing of the Fleet Ceremony. Then enjoy the festivities the day has to offer - music shows all day, Kids Zone at the Civic Centre to keep the children amused. all day. Amusement rides for the older children. Beach Games on the harbour foreshore and the infamous tug-a-war and the Greasy Pole. Lots of stalls and a food court to satisfy all tastes. A great day out for the whole family. Springwood Foundation Day represents a huge day for the lower Blue Mountains community to participate in the festival that celebrates the spirit of our town. Whether young or old, you will find much to see & do as you stroll through Springwood on the day. The main road is closed to traffic from 7 am to 5 pm, allowing pedestrians to enjoy over 130 stalls, a wonderful range of food from around the world, live entertainment including 3 main stages with 25+ performances on the day, local bands, singers, dance groups, rides for the kiddies & much, much more. Applications NOW OPEN! - Food and Market Stalls, Street Performers and Stage Entertainers. Applications close 4 weeks before the event, 1st April 2019. Springwood Foundation Day gives local and regional organisations and businesses a chance to show the diversity that makes up our community. Paws in the Park Get ready for some four-legged fun at the loveable Paws in the Park event on Sunday 5 May. Treat your pooch to a fun day out at the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park between 9am and 1pm, entry via Cawdor Road. There will be more than 50 information stalls and displays, as well as demonstrations, free vet checks, tips on pet ownership, pet competitions, children's activities, food stalls, photo booth fun and more! The 3km pet walk will commence at 9am. Special Guest Dr Harry Cooper OAM - Australia's favourite vet will be attending on the day to judge some competitions and meet Paws in the Park attendees! Competitions start from 10am under the big marquee in the arena. The Crookwell Showground comes alive as the Potato Festival celebrates Crookwell's long association of over 150 years with the potato. As always the event features live music and lots of other entertaining activities for young and old. There will be specialty potato cooking demonstrations, a diverse range of Crookwell's famous potatoes for sale and a charity Spud Auction. 2019 Special Guest - His Excellency Breandon O’Caollai the Irish Ambassador to Australia as in 2019 the festival goes Irish! Irish potato dishes, Irish music and much more…. Other kid's activities and entertainment include Jumping Castle, Face painting, Bubble Man, Giant Games & Slide, Pets Parade and much more. There will be a wide range of market stalls, vintage and classic car show, Motor Trike rides and over 20 food stalls. Wollondilly's cultural and artistic diversity will be showcased through a vibrant festival "Wollondilly IlluminARTe" where artworks will be projected on landmark buildings, walls and public places. A lantern parade will enthrall and captivate onlookers while markets stalls will sell artwork, creations, trinkets, local food and wine. 2017 is " Animate, Activate, Generate " which inspired the festival theme. The Wollondilly IlluminARTe festival will encourage visitors, locals, friends and family to stroll through the picturesque township of Picton NSW taking in the enhanced ambience as an amazing range of local artworks are projected to illuminate the historic town. HENRY LAWSON FESTIVAL, Grenfell, Central West NSW The Henry Lawson Festival is an annual event held in Grenfell, NSW on the June long weekend. Grenfell is the birthplace of Henry Lawson, one of Australia's best loved poets and writer of short stories. The Festival is one of the longest running arts events in NSW with repeat crowds expected of 9000 people. The festival kicks off on the Thursday evening with a special event at the Grenfell Art Gallery, and from there, through to the Monday a wide array of exhibitions, events and entertainment will be on show for all tastes and ages. Art and photography exhibitions, short story and verse competitions, a colourful street procession, children's rides, street entertainment including live music, and car show are just a few of the wonderful events taking place. Come and celebrate the 61st Henry Lawson Festival of Arts From 9am Saturday, the historical main street, right down to the old railway station, is converted into one long line of stalls and attractions. The Festival parade at 1.30 pm is ‘standing room only’ as many floats, marching bands and curiosities flow down the full length of the street. The main day of activities is the Saturday, however Sunday crowds have greatly increased over the last few years. The Sunday offers modest street activity focused around the car show. Fees are very modest. The Deni Ute Muster is celebrating its 21st festival this year and we are looking for trade vendors to join us. With crowds around 18,000 our two-day event will keep you on your toes! Our festival in on daily from 8am through until midnight both Friday 4th and Saturday 5th October 2019. The Deni Ute Muster is a family friendly event with non-stop entertainment for 16 hours daily. This includes the best International and Australian country and rock artists, a circus, full carnival area, woodchopping, whip cracking, a bull ride, Family Centre, petting zoo, camel rides, pig races, inflatables, camp oven cooking demonstrations + heaps more. Our patrons camp on site and enter the festival arena daily to enjoy the various food and trade stalls on offer whilst taking part in the activities and watching the entertainment. Country clothing and hats have already been taken care of, all other applicants are encouraged to apply. We get a variety of patrons with high disposable incomes, looking to take souvenirs and shopping home with them. Trade vendors are asked to be operational between 8am and 8pm each day. The Tasmanian Craft Fair is the largest working craft fair in Australia. Spread over 8 venues throughout the picturesque town of Deloraine in Tasmania, the event asks you " **Which Craft is Your Craft**?" Exhibitors cover every type of craft you can imagine from local and interstate artists and artisans to entertainment, gourmet food, local wines, beer, cider and spirits, demonstrations, garden plants and accessories and free activities for the whole family.
