"More than just a market - Handmade Canberra is making a big difference to the local economy and tourism, attracting 120,000 visitors and generating an estimated $15 million in sales per year." With over 270 stalls selling only Australian handmade goods; homewares, fashion, jewellery, art and an entire pavilion dedicated to food and beverages, the indoor market is renown for high-quality products, workmanship and sensational customer service. Mr Barr agrees, saying it’s “a great place to shop and a great place to take visitors”.
