Port Macquarie Art Society Market is held every Sunday, from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm in the grounds of heritage Hamilton House, 198 Hastings River Drive. This is an opportunity to buy fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, cakes, baby clothes, plants, assorted tools, second hand books, DVDs and CDs and a wide variety of other locally made arts and crafts.

The Port Macquarie Art Society Inc was established to promote the advancement of the fine arts and artistic development in the Port Macquarie-Hastings district. It does this by sharing ideas and techniques, offering education and instruction in the arts, mounting regular group exhibitions and providing a shop front for the sale of members’ works of art in the heritage gallery of the Society’s premises at the Manor House on Hamilton Green.

Take the picturesque drive to Tarana and enjoy the Tarana Community Farmers Market held on the fourth Sunday of every month at the Fireshed just below The Tarana Hotel.

Trading hours are from 10 am to 2 pm with all day brewed coffee and bacon and egg rolls. At the market you will meet the person who has grown, produced or made the items they are selling including seasonal fruit and vegetables, local lamb, pork and beef, jams, wines, brewed beer, garden produce and ornaments, truffles, garlic, honey and saffron, handmade dolls and clothing, live alpacas and rabbits and much more. Market umbrellas provide a shaded area for you to sit and relax while you enjoy your purchases and listen to the buskers. The Tarana Hotel and Universal Eatery are just a short walk away where you can have a great meal. A raffle comprising an item from each of the stallholders is drawn on the day with some lucky person going home with a basket of wonderful goodies. 
 
At midday a different demonstration is held each month, e.g. February feature is  a shearer and a spinner. All proceeds go to the Tarana Volunteer Bushfite Brigade.

the market@bungendore began in 2011 when a local art cooperative group called the pARTnership took over the running of an existing market. Since then this market has grown to be a warm and friendly country market offering a wide selection of handmade or homegrown goods. While only small, you can discover original artworks, handmade gifts of every description, homewares, clothing and jewellery, along with local produce and plants. In the kitchen our caterer cooks up a storm with a range of snacks, cakes and of course - a good cup of coffee.
