The Riverina Field Days is an agricultural/trade event held in Griffith at the Griffith Showgrounds and sponsored by the Wine Grapes Marketing Board.

Held annually on the second Friday & Saturday in May and whilst only at its present venue for the past 7 years, it evolved from a similar event held at Yanco from 1987-2006.

Griffith has a population of 24,000 and visitors to the field days come from most towns in the MIA/Riverina with exhibitors from most states of Australia.

There are in excess of 200 exhibitors and they are a combination of agricultural machinery, rural products, most brands of vehicles as well as stalls of a more general nature including clothing, home products etc.which will appeal to the "townies".

There are indoor and outdoor sites of varying sizes from 3m x 3m to 12m x 6m and prices are more than competitive with other similar events.

Since the first event in Griffith in 2007 we have seen crowds in the vicinity of 10,000 over the two days.

We accept most types of exhibitors but some conditions apply.

HENRY LAWSON FESTIVAL, Grenfell, Central West NSW

The Henry Lawson Festival is an annual event held in Grenfell, NSW on the June long weekend. Grenfell is the birthplace of Henry Lawson, one of Australia's best loved poets and writer of short stories. The Festival is one of the longest running arts events in NSW with repeat crowds expected of 9000 people. There will be plenty to celebrate in 2017 – the Festivals 60th year, as well as Henry Lawsons 150th birthday.

The festival kicks off on the Thursday evening with a special event at the Grenfell Art Gallery, and from there, through to the Monday a wide array of exhibitions, events and entertainment will be on show for all tastes and ages. Art and photography exhibitions, short story and verse competitions, a colourful street procession, children's rides, street entertainment including busking and live music, and car show are just a few of the wonderful events taking place.

From 9am Saturday, the historical main street, right down to the old railway station, is converted into one long line of stalls, buskers and attractions. The Festival parade at 2 pm is ‘standing room only’ as many floats, marching bands and curiosities flow down the full length of the street.  The big day is Saturday, with modest street activity on the Sunday, focused around the car show. The Sunday has been growing over the last 5 years, with large crowds now also expected. Fees are very modest.

Traders for general market & food stalls are invited to download our stallholder information kit from the website under the street stalls page: http://www.henrylawsonfestival.com.au/events-and-entertainment/street-carnival/street-stalls.
