Running on the first Saturday of every month, @The HUB Markets is a community style market raising funds for local projects and community groups. With diverse stall holders selling hand-made goods, homemade treats, bric-a-brac and boot sale style chattels, there's something for everyone. Enjoy freshly baked Devonshire Tea, or grab a sausage sizzle off the barbie run by our local Seniors. Score a great deal with our Mega monthly Book Sale and help us raise funds towards our monthly community project. Getting involved is easy. See stall holder and contact information below. How we raise funds for community projects: We contribute $5.00 from every $20.00 stall hire to our monthly project. We donate 100% of all sales through our mega book sale to our monthly project. All Saints Market at South Hobart is open from 9am-2pm on the last Saturday of the month (January to November) and the first and second Saturday in December. Like us on facebook to stay informed about our special events such as All Saints Daffodil Show. With live music, great food and fab stalls like Get Curry India, Oxfam, home-baked cakes, home-made jams & preserves, hand-made homewares, local honey, plants, flowers, new and antique jewellery, jigsaw puzzles, gem stones, handcrafted soaps, clothes, hand-made cards, collectables, bric-a-brac and more including our famous Bargain Basement where you can fill a bag with goodies for just $3 Open at each market is The Jesse Tree, All Saints Op Shop, where you will find a range of products including vintage clothing & homewares, collectables, books, hand-made crafts & cards, plants and local produce as well as home-made goodies ranging from delicious home-baked cakes and biscuits to jams and preserves. The Jesse Tree is open between markets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30am to 3.30pm and Saturdays from 10.00am to 2.00pm. All Saints Market is spread out down the car park on the city side of All Saints Church and continues past The Jesse Tree, all the way through to the Quiet Gardens behind the church and into the Julie Hawker Centre at the back of the property. The Riverside Markets, operated by the Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie are held at Berry Park, a delightful grassy spot with many shade trees on the northern banks of the Macquarie River offers plentiful parking, highway exposure and public facilities. Forty to fifty stalls sell a huge range of items now vie for your attention, supported by a live music and the Macquarie Lions Club with their world famous bbq offerings. Along with bric’a’brac stalls, you will find jewellery,books, leatherwork, wooden toys and garden ornaments, clothing of all kinds for adults and children, crystals and mini gardens, Rawleigh products, cakes and other baked goods, local honey, non-alcohic beers, preserves, condiments, fresh produce in season, plants, candles, cards, vintage items, sweets, giftware, ironwork, recycled craft and other items. After browsing the stalls patrons can have a yummy morning tea or lunch and a cuppa, sitting at tables or on the grass to listen to great live music. Public toilets are handy as is a children's playground. Berry Park is accessed via the first turn left off the Great Western Highway after crossing the Macquarie River when Sydney-bound, or the last right-hand turn before crossing the river if heading into Bathurst. The site is clearly sign-posted on the day. Markets are held on the first Saturday of each month except January and run from 8-ish until 1pm in the warmer months and from 9am until 1pm in winter.
