Running on the first Saturday of every month, @The HUB Markets is a community style market raising funds for local projects and community groups. With diverse stall holders selling hand-made goods, homemade treats, bric-a-brac and boot sale style chattels, there's something for everyone. Enjoy freshly baked Devonshire Tea, or grab a sausage sizzle off the barbie run by our local Seniors. Score a great deal with our Mega monthly Book Sale and help us raise funds towards our monthly community project. Getting involved is easy. See stall holder and contact information below. How we raise funds for community projects: We contribute $5.00 from every $20.00 stall hire to our monthly project. We donate 100% of all sales through our mega book sale to our monthly project. The Jesse Tree is open between markets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30am to 3.30pm and Saturdays from 10.00am to 2.00pm. All Saints Market is spread out down the car park on the city side of All Saints Church and continues past The Jesse Tree, all the way through to the Quiet Gardens behind the church and into the Julie Hawker Centre at the back of the property. Entry to the Showground is via Showground Road. (A new set of traffic lights between Gilbert and Carrington Rd) An abundance of fresh produce to tempt the taste buds of most hunters and gatherers. It's also a family pet-friendly market, so you can bring your furry friend along as well. Let's begin our journey by succumbing to the tantalizing aroma of freshly ground coffee beans brewing away in the crispy early morning air of the Show grounds. As you sip your coffee and munch on your egg and bacon roll, you will drawn by the perfumes of the many freshly cut blooms from Flowering Eucalyptus with a vast array of colours and species to suit all occasions. As you do the rounds it's hard not to be drawn to the amazing variety of fresh herbs and spices available. The crispy baby rockets, extra virgin olive oils, sun dried tomatoes and Darling Mills amazing array of olives and fresh basil. Willowbrae cheese maker Karen Borg uses a traditional French farmhouse method to produce a variety of goats cheese sold at the markets by her husband David. the market@bungendore began in 2011 when a local art cooperative group called the pARTnership took over the running of an existing market. Since then this market has grown to be a warm and friendly country market offering a wide selection of handmade or homegrown goods. While only small, you can discover original artworks, handmade gifts of every description, homewares, clothing and jewellery, along with local produce and plants. In the kitchen our caterer cooks up a storm with a range of snacks, cakes and of course - a good cup of coffee. If you are in the Canberra region on the 2nd Sunday of the month then come along for a dose of good old fashioned country hospitality. The market is just one aspect of Bungendore so there is plenty to fill a day. Entry to the market is by gold coin donation to the Bungendore War Memorial Hall Restoration Fund.
