ARTS CENTRE MELBOURNE SUNDAY MARKET

Arts Centre Melbourne, 100 Saint Kilda Road, Southbank VIC 3006
ARTS CENTRE MELBOURNE SUNDAY MARKET
Every Sunday from 10am-4pm, beneath the ballerina’s skirt of the Arts Centre Melbourne spire, is a market that brings together some of Victoria’s most creative artisans. From jewellers to bakers, designers to painters – meet the makers and hear the stories behind their creations. Whether looking for a gift, or a new addition for your home, explore the Sunday Market and you’re bound to discover a unique, handcrafted treasure. Each stall offers meticulously created goods such as jewellery, leather goods, woodcrafts, paintings, soaps, clothing, candles, and many tasty treats – every item a labour of love and passion for the art. You’ll discover something special and meet the skilled hands responsible. One stall could be juggling supplies, the next, antique kaleidoscopes! Grab a freshly made treat from a friendly stallholder and set yourself on the sloping Arts Centre Melbourne green. The communal lawn offers a leisurely spot to sit back and enjoy the view, and perhaps inhale those delicacies you picked up with live and local music from 12pm-3pm forming the soundtrack to your Sunday (weather permitting). Unique to Melbourne, come and be a part of the community atmosphere and enjoy the Sunday Market that celebrates our local artists and makers.
