Running on the first Saturday of every month, @The HUB Markets is a community style market raising funds for local projects and community groups. With diverse stall holders selling hand-made goods, homemade treats, bric-a-brac and boot sale style chattels, there's something for everyone. Enjoy freshly baked Devonshire Tea, or grab a sausage sizzle off the barbie run by our local Seniors. Score a great deal with our Mega monthly Book Sale and help us raise funds towards our monthly community project. Getting involved is easy. See stall holder and contact information below. How we raise funds for community projects: We contribute $5.00 from every $20.00 stall hire to our monthly project. We donate 100% of all sales through our mega book sale to our monthly project. Held in Foley Park, Glebe, from 10am – 3pm, more than 60 stallholders will have their original work for sale. They include interesting ceramics, original fashion, clothing, blankets, knitted and wooden toys for babies and children, amazing jewellery and industrial pieces recycled into furniture and lighting. Since the market was established in 2016, it has quickly gained a reputation for being one of Sydney’s finest markets. Everything is handmade. As well as checking out the goods and talking to the stall holders, you can relax and listen to live music. Held only every three months this is an opportunity not to be missed. Foley Park is on the corner of Bridge Road and Glebe Point Road. The market will be open from 10am to 3pm. We are now taking permanent trader applications for the 2019-20 trading season! Bondi Beach Community Market (BBCM) operates from September to April, our trading hours are: September, October, November, March and April: Saturdays, Sundays and all Public Holidays - 12.20 to 19.00pm December, January and February: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and all Public Holidays - 12.20 to 21.00pm. Situated in the heart of Bondi Beach at Roscoe Street Mall/ Carl Jeppsen Place, on Cambell Parade, facing the main pedestrian crossing to the iconic world famous beach – in the summer this is a high traffic flow area on warm sunny days. We have on average 112 trading days per season with very reasonable rents to help you start a business, or to promote your already established business - casual traders pay only $70 per day! All stall sizes are 3m x 2m (except for one massage stall site, which is 3m x 3m permitting the use of a suitable Marquee tent). We are looking for a variety of stalls that won't compete with each and create a lively market mix. In particular we are seeking artists - painters/ photographers etc, clothing, bikini & surf stalls, as well as one henna tattoo/ face painter & one massage stall. Other products will be considered. Our markets have been in operation for in excess of 25 years. We have an excellent selection of stalls with something for everyone. We have stalls inside the hall and outside on the Recreation Reserve. We are always looking out for new stall holders and our stall rental fee is one of the lowest in the area. We have excellent Devonshire Teas with Barista coffee and food from our Gourmet Kitchen. We are proud of the fact that all the proceeds raised from the markets are placed back into the up keep of the Community Hall.
