Markets are held at the Fairfield Showground every Saturday from 9am to 4pm in the covered area behind the grandstands.The Markets started in 1978 and are now recognised as one of the largest markets in the South West area of Sydney. The Markets are very popular with more than 600 stalls, free entry and lots of parking.The market sells only new products and traders have a wide variety of clothes, toys, food, sporting gear, groceries, household items, jewellery and more. Weekly entertainment is provided for children including pony rides, merry go round, clown heads and a jumping castle. Fairfield Markets is the premier market in Western Sydney and has the largest and most interesting range of goods around. All new products line the stalls of this well-run market. Stall Holder Information Casual Sites Casual Traders need to phone 9725 2333 every Friday between 2pm and 3pm to book their site.Casual stalls are allocated between 7am and 7.30amEach site costs $65.Each site measures 3 metres x 3 metres.Tables can be hired for $4 each.Traders may unload vehicles at their site, however; all vehicles must be removed from the markets area by 9am.All traders must operate for the full opening hours of the markets - 9am to 4pm. Regular Traders Applications can only be accepted by the Showground Manager or Operations Manager.Applications are assessed on the availability of suitable sites, types of products proposed to be sold and history of trading at the markets.Each site will cost $55 per week.All applications should refer to the markets rules for further information, or contact the Showground Office on 9725 2333. Please note that all items sold at all stalls must be brand new goods.

We have stalls inside the hall and outside on the Recreation Reserve. We are always looking out for new stall holders and our stall rental fee is one of the lowest in the area. We have excellent Devonshire Teas with Barista coffee and food from our Gourmet Kitchen. We are proud of the fact that all the proceeds raised from the markets are placed back into the up keep of the Community Hall. MANDJAR MARKETS POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE As you will be aware the circumstances are changing daily with regards to the Corona Virus. Due to the latest Dept of Health update, the committee have postponed any future markets for this season which was due to finish on the 10th May. We are doing this in the best interest for everyone's health & well-being as a safety precaution for our family of Mandjar Markets stallholders ,entertainers and our market visitors who attend the markets weekly on the Eastern Foreshore. It being a public open space we can’t monitor the amount of visitors and if it will exceed 500 people at any given time. Over the next few days on our Facebook page ,we will be posting links of all our approved stallholders, amusement operators and entertainers that have websites and/or Facebook pages. We ask that you can please still support them during this difficult time and purchase or book directly from them. As soon as a date is announced where it is safe to hold Public events, the Markets Committee will then work on future dates and announcements will be made. We wish everyone to stay healthy and if you are affected with the virus, speedy recovery wishes to you.
