A highlight of the Emerge Festival, the spectacular StreetFair will take over the Chatswood CBD, bringing it to life with a colourful, vibrant street parade with more than 800 participants, live entertainment across several entertainment areas, and more than 100 market stalls featuring an array of delicious food, jewellery, bric-a-brac and more to explore. In it's 37th year "Spring into Corrimal" is a vibrant family festival enjoyed by young and old alike - each year it attracts more than 60,000 people into the heart of Corrimal (80km's south of Sydney CBD) from as far as the Central Coast to the Far South Coast including western and south western Sydney. The streets are closed to traffic and Corrimal turns into a centre of bustling fun. STALLHOLDERS WANTED The Lugarno Lions Spring Festival is the largest festival in southern Sydney outside of the Royal Easter Show. The festival attracts up to 40,000 visitors with over 200 food, craft and variety stalls, two stages of entertainment and a plethora of carnival rides. This year the festival will feature the popular 80s band, The Cockroaches, as the highlight attraction. Before the Wiggles there was The Cockroaches with “Wake Up Jeff”, the Purple Wiggle and the Field brothers. Festival attractions include amusement rides, Harley Davidson trike rides, camel rides, kiddies train rides, pony rides, animal farm, rock wall climbing and much more. In addition to a variety of quality food sites, there is also the regular Classic Vehicle Show for all to see. Entry is Free - ATMs onsite For more information, visit the Lugarno Lions website and select the "Festival" option. Celebrate spring at this colourful street fair, which has been running for over 37 years and coincides with the last weekend of the renowned Leura Gardens Festival. Over 100 market stalls are set among the cherry blossoms on Leura Mall, and Megalong Street Carpark is transformed into an international canteen. There’s something for everyone, with stallholders offering everything from handicrafts, fair trade goods, vintage wares, fashion, jewellery, gadgets and toys to dog accessories, cool-climate plants, preserves and fresh produce. Artists are invited to showcase their talents, local musicians add to the festival atmosphere and regional winemakers will showcase their varietals at the fair for the first time this year. There is literally something for everyone! It’s highly recommend that visitors to the fair arrive by train, as parking is very limited. The trip takes two hours from Central Railway Station. Once you exit from Leura Railway Station you will be at the top of Leura Mall, where the fair begins..

Oatley Village Festival is a major community event in the St George area, attracting over 15,000 local residents and 180 food craft and variety stalls. This year Oatley Lions Club commemorates over 41 years of community service in the St George area. Festival attractions include amusement rides, Harley motor bike rides, pony rides, roving bands and two stage bands. In addition to a variety of quality food sites, this event attracts a wide range of craft goods and quality merchandise. PARKING Visitors and stall holders are encouraged to park in the Georges River Campus at the northern end of the Oatley Memorial Park (enter via Hurstville Road) to ensure there is adequate parking for shoppers. FESTIVAL NEWSLETTER Stall holders new to Oatley are encouraged to subscribe online to the Festival News mailing list to receive notification when online bookings open in July. The day boasts up to 100 Art and Craft stalls and a variety of fabulous food and drinks. A great range of activities for the kids, and adults alike. Jumping castles and face painting, crazy hair,inflatable Archey, to name a few. With some activities run by the school students themselves. There is live music and entertainment kindly supplied by the Maldon Folk Festival in the main marquee, including poetry, musicians and bands throughout the day. This is our major fundraising event, with all funds going directly back into the school to provide more opportunities for the 105 students attending. Glenbrook Spring Festival is an annual event on the second Saturday of November and has been running for 35 years. Ross Street (between Park St and Cross St) and Park Street (between Ross St and Euroka Rd) are closed for the day. The Food and Wine Festival starts at 11am and is located in the lower section of Ross Street. Street stalls will be located in Ross St and Park St as well as in the Village Green of Glenbrook Park. Food stalls will be located in Glenbrook Park adjacent to the sportsground. Jubilee Amusements and the Petting Zoo will be operating on the sportsground of Glenbrook Park with relevant food stalls and craft stalls adjacent. Springwood Australia Day Festival 2019 is held on Friday Jan 26 at Springwood Public School playground. It involves entertainment from local bands, dancers, singers, performers, from 10.00am till 4pm on 2 stages - non-stop entertainment. Over 2000 counted through the gate last year, we expect more this year, our 9th major event at this venue, as it keeps building each year. We have Food and Markets Stalls there with carnival rides, face painting and pony rides for the kids, BBQ and a Licenced Bar for mum and dad. Springwood Foundation Day represents a huge day for the lower Blue Mountains community to participate in the festival that celebrates the spirit of our town. Whether young or old, you will find much to see & do as you stroll through Springwood on the day. The main road is closed to traffic from 7 am to 5 pm, allowing pedestrians to enjoy over 130 stalls, a wonderful range of food from around the world, live entertainment including 3 main stages with 25+ performances on the day, local bands, singers, dance groups, rides for the kiddies & much, much more. Applications NOW OPEN! - Food and Market Stalls, Street Performers and Stage Entertainers. Applications close 4 weeks before the event, 1st April 2019. Springwood Foundation Day gives local and regional organisations and businesses a chance to show the diversity that makes up our community.
