“All roads lead to Cootamundra this Wattle Time” Celebrate Cootamundra’s iconic Wattle Time with the staging of the Wattle Time Fair and Community Street Parade, hosted by the Cootamundra Development Corporation. Cootamundra is located in the South West Slopes of NSW and is infamously known as the birthplace of legendary cricketer the late Sir Donald Bradman. Cootamundra is a highly regarded agricultural country town and is approximately halfway by rail between Sydney and Melbourne. The 2018 Wattle Time Fair will be held at the Fisher Park from 9am to 4pm on Saturday 25th August 2018 (always the last Saturday in August). Now in its sixth year, the Fair is set to incorporate all things home, garden and leisure and is a great day out for the entire family featuring: market stalls, delicious food, face painting, vintage car displays, entertainment all day, mascots, free community cake, children’s rides and activities plus much more, Overall a great family friendly atmosphere bringing the entire community together. Entry is $5 families, $2 adults & $1 children. Don’t forget to check out the floats for the Street Parade, which will make its way down Parker Street at 12noon and will then proceed back to Fisher Park. The Hurlstone Agricultural High School Country Fair and Farm Open Day will be held on Saturday 8th September between 10am and 3pm in the school grounds, Roy Watts Rd, Glenfield (next to the Glenfield railway station). It is a great opportunity for stall holders to sell and promote their products. Hurlstone is a selective government school with day students and boarders. It has a special focus on the teaching of agriculture. The Country Fair is run concurrently with the school's Farm Open Day, where Hurlstone invites the general public to enjoy all of its farm attractions and activities. The market stall area is under a large COLA, near all the major Country Fair attractions, such as the carnival rides. The Bendigo Agricultural Show Society was founded in 1859 and has conducted an annual spring show every year since (excepting during World War 2). The Agricultural Show Society is proud of its history and has been a major player in the community providing facilities for user groups within the Bendigo region and hosting National events. Held over two days, Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27, the ever-popular Bendigo Agricultural Show will again draw the crowds with fantastic entertainment. All the usual attractions will be yours to enjoy. There’ll be the thrill of collecting the showbags, ranging from old favourites to some exciting new ones, for both children and adults, there’ll be animals, including the nursery and horse events, cookery, craft, floral and photography exhibits, and so much more.

Springwood Australia Day Festival 2019 is held on Friday Jan 26 at Springwood Public School playground. It involves entertainment from local bands, dancers, singers, performers, from 10.00am till 4pm on 2 stages - non-stop entertainment. Over 2000 counted through the gate last year, we expect more this year, our 9th major event at this venue, as it keeps building each year. We have Food and Markets Stalls there with carnival rides, face painting and pony rides for the kids, BBQ and a Licenced Bar for mum and dad.
