The CopRice Cobden Spring Festival is in its 24th year and is a fun event for all ages.
The festival begins with the Bendigo Bank Junior Fishing Competition on the banks of Lake Cobden, on Friday at 5.30pm.
Then on Saturday from 9am, Street broadcasts, "Brekky on the Street", Kids' entertainment with The Mik Maks, a buskers' comp, jumping castles, face painting, showbags, in-store activities, Cobden Orchid Club Annual Show, a Quilt Display and lots more, including our famous Fonterra Street Parade at 12pm, featuring, our "Unsung Heroes" and the "Curdie Cow Crap".
Sunday's events include a fun run/walk, and from 10am, live music, food and market stalls, pet parade, dog jumping comp, mini train rides, mini golf, Historical Society display, Pioneer Park Moto Show, Sth Western District Restoration Group display and working engines, Orchid Show and Quilt Display.
General stalls required for Sunday 20th October are: arts and crafts, produce, cakes/slices (no hot food or coffee vans required), cards, books, plants, collectables, bric-a-brac etc. We require proof of public liability and we limit the number of similar stalls. No powered or sheltered sites available.
