Our special Christmas event, just in time for Christmas shopping and a fabulous day out in the glorious hills. The Perth Hills Artisan Markets, the place to find gorgeous local work, from the crafters to the makers, the local produce, the jam masters, the sweet treat makers, the artists, the creatives, olive oil producers and more, the place to hear local musicians, buskers, indulge in delicious food and have a fabulous day amongst the hills of Perth. We also love being able to showcase some local business’s that spell community to us, those up and coming and that can educate others, be it about plants, safety, fundraising, those that make you happy that they are out there amongst us. And yes we have two fabulous locations to be used, one next to the pub on the corner of Nichol St and Craig st and the other inside the park lands of Sculpture Park.

Berrima comes to life as the Wingecarribee Shire celebrates Australia Day. A DAY FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY 9.30am Official Ceremony at Berrima Historic Court House incorporating a Citizenship Ceremony, announcement of the winners of Citizen and YoungCitizen of the Year awards and special address by the Australia Day Ambassador, followed by tea, coffee and lamingtons on the lawn at the Berrima Historic Court House. 12 noon The Grand Parade - is a colourful parade to entertain people of all ages. See Classic cars, local bands, cheer on our Emergency Services Volunteers, historic tractors and much much more in a street parade that is unique to Australia Day and Berrima. All day Market stalls, farmyard nursery, jumping castles and much more Grand Parade Nominations for participation in the Grand (Street) Parade are now open: Wingecarribee Shire Citizen of the Year Awards The Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year Awards recognise those who Nominations are now being sought in two categories and contributions can include individual acts of compassion, generosity or bravery. The Community are encouraged to nominate those they admire or whose contributions to the community they find inspiring. The 2019 Australia Day Citizen of the Year Awards categories include Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year. The Young Citizen Award is open to people who are aged 25 years or younger.

AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS - HIGHFIELDS
Highfields Pioneer Village has traditionally hosted many thousands of people from near and far celebrating Australia Day in a unique heritage location.Australia Day Celebrations at Highfields will be Jam packed full of fun with displays and entertainment to interest all ages. At 9:00am the day kicks off with the Milking of the Cow, then Beekeeping, Blacksmithing, Working Draught Horse and Whip Cracking School. There will be plenty of good Aussie tucker, meat pies, vegemite sandwiches and Billy Tea and Damper. Guest Artists Trevor Dodds, Terry Arnold, Low Voltage and Catie-May will perform. There will be an Aboriginal Art display, Family Games and children will love the Baby Animals in the Nursery. We start at 9:00 and finish at around 5:00pm. Entry is $3 per person to support the heritage village, Under 12yrs are free, Entry after 1:30pm is Free of charge.

On the last weekend in February of each year since 1997, the township of Tumbarumba is host to "Tumbafest" – a celebration of music, wine and food. An annual two day music, food and wine event with large markets located in the heart of the festival grounds. With plenty of entertainment and activities all weekend. WHITE SANDS FESTIVAL
The White Sands Festival is held on the Sports Ground at Huskisson and is essentially a large market with over 120 stalls, plus entertainment all day and various interesting exhibits. These exhibits include vintage, hot-rod and display cars together with bikes, vintage machinery, power boats and much more. On stage there are local and out-of-town groups who sing, perform and play for your entertainment as well as massed Scottish Bands marching and playing on and around the large field, the entertainment continues throughout the day. Preceding the events at the sports ground there is a large and noisy parade that passes through town with marching groups, bands, floats and community groups to bring the large crowd to the main event. All 5m x 5m sites are on grass with over 120 sites available. Most stalls have adjacent parking. Huskisson is a popular seaside town on the South Coast of NSW, and it is still just $80 for a full day trading.
